Streamlined treatment initiation with WELTRUZA
No loading dose or oral supplementation required
For patients who have never taken olanzapine, establish tolerability with oral or intramuscular immediate-release olanzapine prior to initiating treatment.
No post-injection monitoring required
Patients can leave after routine injection-site observation and staff can move on to the next patient.
Transitioning to WELTRUZA
Give WELTRUZA on the consecutive day when transitioning from oral or intramuscular immediate-release olanzapine.
If a monthly dose is missed, administer the next injection as soon as possible and resume the monthly schedule.
